A robot performs at a poetry reading, using binary code to create its newest masterpiece.

A new humanoid robot powered by generative artificial intelligence can compose poetry, respond to questions and commands, and interact with people. The robot, named Ameca, is on display alongside hundreds of robots this week at the International Conference on Robotics and Automation, or ICRA, in London.

If you’re wondering what the robot performer said, translate the binary code to text here.
