Rangers select Josh Jung in the 2019 MLB Draft
Josh Jung, a junior at Texas Tech, was the No. 8 pick for the Texas Rangers in the 2019 MLB draft.

The Texas Rangers selected Texas Tech third baseman Josh Jung in the first round of the 2019 MLB draft. The San Antonio native was the No. 8 pick overall. Jung, a junior, ranked 12th in the country for his .392 batting average his sophomore season.
The Rangers will select again for No. 41 and No. 50 picks later in the night.
