Southwest Journalist

Noah Broder

Noah Broder, Intern

Noah Broder graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 2018 where he majored in journalism and political science. He is thrilled to be in Austin and working with the Southwest journalist. Most of his journalism experience comes in digital media and content creation, so editing and page design is new for him. He is very excited to gain these new skills and apply them at his internship this summer.

Noah is from Connecticut and he will be working with Central Connecticut Communications this summer as a multi-platform copy editor. This means he will be in working on story editing and page design for a number of small newspapers across central Connecticut.

In college, Noah wrote about sports, politics and food for different student groups and online publications. He worked with one of his classes to fact check different political races during the 2016 election, and even used data journalism to tell stories about immigration and climate change. He also had a radio production internship at the end of his senior year to further develop his skills. Check out all of his work at his website and follow him on Twitter for his latest analysis on Wisconsin sports and life.

After the summer, Noah plans to attend grad school, but feel free to send him job offers. He just might consider them.
