Anh Nguyen, Intern
Anh Nguyen is a graduate of Temple University where she majored in journalism. This summer, she is interning at the Los Angeles Times where she is excited to learn more from her editors about how to craft stories that impact the community. While in Los Angeles, she hopes to live the beach lifestyle and has been preparing for this by watching “90210.” She applied to the Dow Jones News Fund Internship after taking a class with Dr. Ed Trayes, who teaches a DJNF residency program at Temple. While in college, Nguyen worked as the senior editor for Freely Magazine, a student-run publication that focuses on international issues and the international student community at Temple. An animal-lover, Nguyen also founded the Community Cats Club at Temple, which provides help to animals in the area.
