Lilly Chandler, a sophomore at Texas A&M University- Corpus Christi, will be a multi-platform editing intern at the Hill Country News in Cedar Park, Texas. She has freelance wrote and copy-fed for the Hill Country News since 2019.

Lilly grew up in Thrall, Texas, where she began her writing career on the Thrall High School UIL Journalism team and yearbook staff. She has articles published in the Taylor Daily Press, as well as the Hill Country News.

In her spare time she loves to craft, run and hang out in Austin's public parks and swimming areas. She takes great pride in advocating for mental health awareness and LGBTQ+ and women's' rights.
