Gabriella Ruiz, a junior who attends Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, will be a multiplatform editing intern who will be working at the Pleasanton Express in the summer of 2021. Gabriella grew up in Charlotte, TX, and loves her small town. 

She’s a Media Arts major with a concentration in Media Studies, along with obtaining a Digital Journalism degree. Gabriella has worked as a reporter for two years at Island Waves, TAMU-CC’s official news publication, in which she covered sports, the campus community, and more. 

In Gabriella’s spare time, she enjoys creating makeup looks with all the makeup palettes she owns. A fun fact about Gabriella is that she loves anything associated with Harry Styles.
