Lauryn Azu will be a copy desk and audience intern at the Chicago Tribune following the 2021 UT-Austin multiplatform editing program.

She is a rising senior in the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Journalism and she is the editor in chief of The Black Voice, a digital publication that serves the campus Black community. She was born and raised in Metro Detroit and she enjoys traveling, reading, thrifting and long lakeside walks.
